Susan brings over 17 years of experience in human resources, employee assistance program, and account management experience in small business, consulting, and corporate environments. She has a talent and passion for relationship building, service delivery, and partnering with clients to implement highly effective human resources solutions that get to the heart of their complex leadership and employee related issues.
Before joining ClearRock, Susan worked for two human asset management and EAP organizations: The Wellness Corporation and Sobel & Raciti Associates as an Account Executive and Senior Consultant. In those roles, she managed and developed key account relationships and provided management consultation, coaching and counseling to all levels of the client organization in the areas of performance improvement, change management, leadership development, and conflict resolution.
Susan began her career in the cosmetics and consumer goods industry working in an administrative role to Revlon's top executive team. She then moved into Revlon's healthcare division as an HR Generalist serving as a key member of their human resources management team and was a major contributor during the restructuring and spin-off of their pharmaceutical companies. From there, Susan went to work for Crabtree & Evelyn Ltd. as Employee Relations Manager where she directed employee relations activities at corporate headquarters and provided field staffing and performance management support to store managers nationwide. Susan has also had her own HR consulting practice where she consulted to family businesses in the areas of succession planning, performance management, and reorganization.
Susan earned a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College. She is a psychotherapist and licensed counselor as well as an iPEC trained coach. Susan is a member of NEHRA, ICF of New England, and is a volunteer coach for the Coaching for Leadership & Teamwork Program (CLTP) at Babson College.
