Thursday, 30 June 2005
BOSTON - Annie Stevens, managing partner of ClearRock, an executive coaching and outplacement firm headquartered in Boston, has been selected one of Boston's Top 10 Executive Coaches by readers of the Boston Women's Journal. The selections are published in the journal's July issue.

Stevens, who founded ClearRock in 2000, is one of two equity partners in the firm, along with Greg Gostanian, managing partner. Stevens has more than 20 years experience coaching executives. Prior to founding ClearRock, she held senior-level executive coaching positions with Manchester Inc. and McKenna, Jandl, and White.

One of the people who nominated Stevens for the honor is Lisa Zankman, senior vice president, human resources, for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. "I have used Annie Stevens to coach top executives for more than 15 years, and she is amazing. She is able to win the trust of the toughest cases, and has the ability to help them confront the areas where they need to change without alienating them. Her outstanding traits are: her honesty; her skill in speaking the truth without being hurtful; and her ability to enable people to change destructive behavior," said Zankman in her nomination.

Stevens has been quoted by Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Boston Business Journal, The Associated Press, WBZ Radio, ABC Radio, and many other media outlets.
